How do I place an order?
Simply fill in our video order form. After submitting your order, Happymoments will send you an email within 24 hours summarizing the video package purchased and the total purchased amount, along with payment instruction, material submission instruction and an order number for your record.

How long does it take to make a wedding video?
Upon receiving of all materials, we require 26 working days in total to complete a video (i.e. 3 days for scanning, 20 days for video production, and 3-5 days for modifications [if any]).

What forms of payment do you accept?
We currently accept credit cards (Mastercard, Visa, and American Express) via Paypal, bank transfer, and checks.

When should I pay?
Full payment should be made anytime prior to submitting your materials for video production.
For busy period, 10% deposit payment should be made within 7 days after placing your order in order for production schedule to be reserved. Remaining balance is due prior to submitting your materials for actual video production.

Do you take overseas order?
Yes. Happymoments welcome orders outside Hong Kong. For overseas customers, please choose credit card via Paypal as your payment method. The final DVD / VCD will be mail to you by regular post. For rush orders, an additional postal charge applies. Please email us for further information.

How many parts should my video have?
Our wedding video normally consist of 3 parts (bride, groom, together). The bride's section will consist of the bride's photos from baby til now. The groom's section will consist of the groom's photos from baby til now. The together section will consist of dating photos as well as wedding photos (eg: studio portraits, engagement photos etc).

Can I use only 1 song to demonstrate all 3 sections (i.e.: bride, groom, together)?
Yes. You could use 1 song to demonstrate all 3 sections. Or you may select our 2-song or 3-song package to demonstrate the 3 sections. For your reference, you may allocate your 3 sections in the following manner:
1 song package: 1st song: Bride + Groom + Together (dating + wedding photos)
2-song package: 1st song: Bride + Groom, 2nd song: Together (dating + wedding photos)
3-song package: 1st song: Bride, 2nd song: Groom, 3rd song: Together (dating + wedding photos)

How many photos can I put into my video?
Depending on the length of song(s) you've selected, the number of photos that you could put inside your video varies. As each slide requires roughly 6 seconds, a simple calculation formula will be divide the total duration of your song (in secs) by 6 seconds.
For example: A song that is 305 seconds in length could hold 50 slides in total. If in doubt, you may contact us for a more accurate estimate.

What should I consider when selecting my video package?
The video length is usually the key factor to consider. A good length for a banquet video will be 5-8 minutes. Depending on your choice of song(s) and how much content you wish to put into your video, you may need to select one package over another to meet your needs. For example, if you have a song that you really like, but it is only 2 minutes in length, it is necessary that you select an additional song and purchase a 2-song package to fit all your photo contents into the video. On the other hand, if you have 2 songs that you really like but the two songs adds up to 12 minutes in length, it is suggested that you only use 1 song or select other songs to keep the video in good length.

Can you merge my songs for my video? NEW
It depends on the song nature. For some songs, merging of songs (ie.: audio cross-fading) can be done seamlessly. For others, such transition would result in abrupt mood change and the result might not work out too well. Upon submission of your songs and your ideas, our video editors would advise the best editing solution to create the best outcome.

How do I submit my songs?
You may either (a) provide us with the original audio CD, or (b) convert your song file(s) to MP3 format and send to us by FTP / email.

How do I submit my photos?
You may submit your actual photos to us by hand or by uploading the scanned / digital photos to our FTP server.

Can I put in videos taken with my video camcorder/ digital camera into my wedding video?
Yes. You may treat each movie clip as one single slide inside your wedding video. Videos with plain expressions (eg: smiling) or simple gesture (eg: running, hugs etc) can enhance the mood of your video. As the audio part from your submitted movie clip will be deleted prior to production, try not to submit video clip with the person talking. You may send us the file by FTP upload. We accept computer format such as wmv, mov, avi, or mpeg. DV and VHS tapes will NOT be accepted.

Can I put more than 1 photo per slide?
Yes. You could put in more than 1 photo per slide. To achieve best result, only few slides (max 10 / package) with this format is advised.

Can I put in wordings or captions to my photos?
Yes. Short words / indications can be put onto your photos. To achieve best result, avoid long sentence as your guests might not be able to read the text fast enough.

What are Happymoments' video's limitations?
Our videos are slideshow videos. The submitted content can only be shown in slideshow format using our Happymoments video effects with fix duration per slide.

What are Happymoments' video's strength? NEW
Our wedding videos are tailor-made photo montage slideshow videos that use transition effects & artworks that are exclusive only at Happymoments. Our video style is unique and can express your favorite photos with mood and feelings. The final video would become an invaluable keepsake for years to treasure.

Can you customize my video ideas into my wedding video?
As long as your idea would work within the slideshow framework, we can customize your video by executing your ideas with our video effects. Please feel free to discuss with us to get a better idea of what can or what can not be done.

Can I create a video for other occasions besides wedding?
Yes. There is no limitation to the subject. You may create a slideshow video for your baby, your friend's birthday, for your wedding anniversary, for Mother's Day, or simply for sharing photos with your family and friends.

Can I share my video online with my friends after my wedding? NEW
Yes. We would provide you with a Windows Media Video format version (i.e.: .wmv) of your final video upon request. Your video would then be uploaded to a forever website address under your name (eg: http://yourname.happymoments.net ) for online sharing.
